In Friday's league contest, the host Clawson Trojans basketball team scored a close 53-48 triumph over the Mott Marauders.

The Trojans (15-1) will now prepare for their contest against St. Catherine of Siena Academy (Wixom, MI). The Athletes go into the non-league contest with a 14-2 record. In their last contest, St. Catherine of Siena Academy nipped Seaholm (Birmingham, MI), 52-51, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Marauders battle the Sterling Heights Stallions (Sterling Heights, MI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Mott will attempt to better on its 11-5 season record. The Stallions go into the contest with a 3-12 record after their 51-26 non-league loss to Warren Woods-Tower (Warren, MI).
