North Carolina High School Basketball - Clinton triumphant over Red Springs

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Clinton Dark Horses (Clinton, NC) and the visiting Red Springs Red Devils (Red Springs, NC), observed Clinton's basketball team overwhelm Red Springs by a score of 52-30.

The Dark Horses (15-7) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC). The Bulldogs come into the 2A Southeastern challenge with a 17-4 record. In their last challenge, St. Pauls was routed by Fairmont (Fairmont, NC), 59-40, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Red Devils battle the Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC) in a 2A Southeastern challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Red Springs will attempt to improve on its 6-15 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 51-49 league loss to West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC).
