In Friday's league contest, the host Gilford Golden Eagles basketball team scored a good 45-28 triumph over the Conant Orioles.
The Golden Eagles (14-3) will now prepare for their contest against Newfound Regional (Bristol, NH). The Bears go into the Division III contest with a 2-13 record. In their last contest, Newfound Regional topped Prospect Mountain (Alton, NH), 62-13, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Orioles battle the Fall Mountain Wildcats (Langdon, NH) in a Division III contest, on Monday, February 10. Conant will attempt to better on its 9-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 12-1 record after their 52-51 league win over Hopkinton (Contoocook, NH).
