The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Wamego Red Raiders (Wamego, KS) and the host Concordia Panthers (Concordia, KS), observed Wamego's basketball team overwhelm Concordia by a score of 59-38.

The Red Raiders (10-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Independent (Wichita, KS). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-9 record. In their last challenge, Independent trounced Kingman (Kingman, KS), 40-39, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Chapman Irish (Chapman, KS) in a North Central Kansas challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Concordia will attempt to improve on its 3-12 season record. The Irish come into the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 49-35 non-league loss to Valley Heights (Blue Rapids, KS).
