In Friday's league test, the Daniel Boone Trailblazers (Gray, TN) basketball squad defeated the visiting Dobyns-Bennett Indians (Kingsport, TN), by a final score of 82-65.

Next, the Trailblazers clash with the Science Hill Hilltoppers (Johnson City, TN) in a 4A District 1 test, on Friday, February 14. Daniel Boone will attempt to upgrade on its 11-12 season record.

The Indians (8-15) will now prepare for their test against South Greene (Greeneville, TN). The Rebels come into the non-league test with a 7-13 record. In their last test, South Greene notched a victory over Happy Valley (Elizabethton, TN), 55-35, in a league match.
