In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Pond Creek-Hunter Panthers basketball team scored a big 35-14 win over the Deer Creek-Lamont Eagles.
The Panthers (6-16) will now prepare for their contest against Hooker (Hooker, OK). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 13-7 record. In their last contest, Hooker was trounced by Alva (Alva, OK), 42-37, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Texhoma Red Devils (Texhoma, OK) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 8. Deer Creek-Lamont will attempt to better on its 1-22 season record.
