The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Eastern Alamance Eagles (Mebane, NC) and the visiting Person Rockets (Roxboro, NC), observed Eastern Alamance's basketball team overcome Person by a margin of 65-45.

The Eagles (11-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Southern Alamance (Graham, NC). The Patriots come into the 3A Central challenge with a 2-19 record. In their last challenge, Southern Alamance dropped by Orange (Hillsborough, NC), 56-17, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Rockets battle the Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC) in a 3A Central challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Person will attempt to better on its 10-12 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 18-4 record after their 59-13 league win over Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC).
