In Friday's league contest, the visiting Elkins Elks basketball team scored a big 69-43 triumph over the West Fork Tigers.
The Elks (19-4) will now prepare for their contest against Providence Academy (Rogers, AR). The Patriots go into the 3A Region 1 contest with a 1-17 record. In their last contest, Providence Academy smashed Thaden (Bentonville, AR), 43-38, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Thaden Barnstormer (Bentonville, AR) in a 3A Region 1 contest, on Tuesday, February 11. West Fork will attempt to better on its 7-13 season record. The Barnstormer go into the contest with a 7-11 record after their 43-38 league loss to Providence Academy (Rogers, AR).
