In Friday's league test, the Mills University Studies Comets (Little Rock, AR) basketball squad defeated the visiting ESTEM Mets (Little Rock, AR), by a score of 63-45.

Next, the Comets clash with the Bauxite Miners (Bauxite, AR) in a 4A Region 5 South test, on Tuesday, February 11. Mills University Studies will attempt to improve on its 12-9 season record. The Miners come into the test with a 5-19 record after their 52-22 league loss to Fountain Lake (Hot Springs National Park, AR).

The Mets (17-12) will now prepare for their test against Malvern (Malvern, AR). The Leopards come into the 4A Region 5 South test with a 9-12 record. In their last test, Malvern overcame Hall (Little Rock, AR), 71-64, in a league test.
