Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA), 64-49 in a league match.
With the victory, Floyd County upgrades its record to 6-13 on the year. The Buffaloes host Alleghany (Covington, VA) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 13-5. Alleghany won 55-33 in their recent league match against Glenvar (Salem, VA)
The Bobcats now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carroll County for a Three Rivers match on Tuesday, February 11. Radford will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 39-23 non-league loss to Martinsville (Martinsville, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 1-19.
