The Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA), 66-33 in Friday's league bout.
The Maroon Tide now possess a 15-2 record. They play next when they host Bland County for a Mountain Empire bout on Tuesday, February 11.
With the loss, Grayson County falls to 10-9 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA) to play the Pioneers in a Mountain Empire bout on Monday, February 10. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 16-3. Fort Chiswell won 63-36 in their recent league bout against Giles (Pearisburg, VA)
