In Friday's league contest, the host Utica Ford Falcons basketball team scored a big 55-31 triumph over the Grosse Pointe North Norsemen.
The Falcons (15-1) will now prepare for their contest against Fitzgerald (Warren, MI). The Spartans go into the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Fitzgerald smashed Marine City (Marine City, MI), 37-29, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Norsemen battle the L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders (Macomb, MI) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 10. Grosse Pointe North will attempt to better on its 5-9 season record. The Crusaders go into the contest with a 2-15 record after their 37-35 non-league loss to Cousino (Warren, MI).
