The Hancock Bulldogs basketball team scored 44 points and limited the visiting Houghton Gremlins to 41 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Westwood for a Western Peninsula game on Tuesday, February 11. Hancock will confront a Patriots team coming off a 49-33 non-league win over Manistique (Manistique, MI). The Patriots record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, Houghton falls to 12-4 on the campaign. The Gremlins travel to Calumet (Calumet, MI) to confront the Copper Kings in a Western Peninsula game on Monday, February 10. The Copper Kings go into the game with a record of 9-6. Calumet won 58-40 in their recent non-league game against Escanaba (Escanaba, MI)
