The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Pine Forest Trojans (Fayetteville, NC) and the host Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC), observed Pine Forest's basketball team overwhelm Harnett Central by a score of 47-20.
The Trojans (11-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Overhills (Spring Lake, NC). The Jaguars come into the 3A/4A All-American challenge with a 14-8 record. In their last challenge, Overhills trounced Triton (Erwin, NC), 59-31, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) in a 3A/4A All-American challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Harnett Central will attempt to improve on its 2-18 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 7-16 record after their 59-31 league loss to Overhills (Spring Lake, NC).
