In Friday's league test, the Hutchinson Salthawks (Hutchinson, KS) basketball squad knocked off the visiting South Cougars (Salina, KS), by a score of 46-32.

Next, the Salthawks encounter the Valley Center Hornets (Valley Center, KS) in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail I test, on Tuesday, February 11. Hutchinson will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record.
