In Friday's league contest, the visiting Lake Arthur Tigers basketball team scored a big 57-13 triumph over the Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy Tigers.

The Tigers (10-17) will now prepare for their contest against Welsh (Welsh, LA). The Greyhounds go into the 2A District 6 contest with a 7-19 record. In their last contest, Welsh was trounced by Lafayette Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA), 62-14, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Patterson Lumberjacks (Patterson, LA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy will attempt to better on its 2-23 season record. The Lumberjacks go into the contest with a 4-16 record after their 49-24 non-league loss to St. James (St. James, LA).
