The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Letchworth Legends (Gainesville, NY) and the visiting Perry Yellowjackets (Perry, NY), observed Letchworth's basketball team overcome Perry by a margin of 58-42.

The Legends (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Geneseo (Geneseo, NY). The Blue Devils come into the Section 5 Livingston 2 challenge with a 5-12 record. In their last challenge, Geneseo defeated Avon (Avon, NY), 31-29, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets battle the Le Roy Oatkan Knights (Le Roy, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 8. Perry will attempt to better on its 10-7 season record. The Oatkan Knights come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 58-38 non-league win over Warsaw (Warsaw, NY).
