In Friday's league contest, the host Midwest City Bombers basketball team scored a big 70-17 triumph over the Marshall Bears.
The Bombers (13-8) will now prepare for their contest against Altus (Altus, OK). The Bulldogs go into the 5A District 2 contest with a 9-11 record. In their last contest, Altus smashed Elgin (Elgin, OK), 54-36, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bears confront the Duncan Demons (Duncan, OK) in a 5A District 2 contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Marshall will attempt to better on its 1-21 season record. The Demons go into the contest with a 13-8 record after their 57-26 league win over Lawton (Lawton, OK).
