Minisink Valley Warriors (Slate Hill, NY) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Washingtonville Wizards (Washingtonville, NY), 52-42 in a league match.

With the victory, Minisink Valley advances its record to 5-9 on the year. The Warriors travel to Onteora (Boiceville, NY) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Monday, February 10. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 9-4. Onteora won 44-17 in their recent non-league match against Millbrook (Millbrook, NY)

The Wizards now own a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Goshen Central for a Section 9 Orange County II match on Tuesday, February 11. Washingtonville will face a Gladiators squad coming off a 56-21 non-league win over Barringer (Newark, NJ). The Gladiators record now stands at 4-9.
