The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the South Hadley Tigers (South Hadley, MA) and the visiting Monson Mustangs (Monson, MA), observed South Hadley's basketball team overwhelm Monson by a score of 62-38.
The Tigers (13-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Drury (North Adams, MA). The Blue Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Drury trounced Pioneer Valley Regional (Northfield, MA), 63-11, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Amherst-Pelham Regional Hurricanes (Amherst, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 10. Monson will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record.
