The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Mount Vernon Christian Hurricanes (Mount Vernon, WA) and the visiting Orcas Island Vikings (Eastsound, WA), observed Mount Vernon Christian's basketball team knock off Orcas Island by a score of 49-39.
In their next game, the Vikings encounter the Friday Harbor Wolverines (Friday Harbor, WA) in a 1B/2B Northwest challenge, on Monday, February 10. Orcas Island will attempt to improve on its 11-9 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 3-15 record after their 31-27 league loss to Coupeville (Coupeville, WA).
