The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs (Little River, SC) and the visiting St. James Sharks (Murrells Inlet, SC), observed North Myrtle Beach's basketball team overwhelm St. James by a margin of 68-35.
The Chiefs (18-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Myrtle Beach (Myrtle Beach, SC). The Seahawks come into the AAAAA Region 6 challenge with a 3-12 record. In their last challenge, Myrtle Beach was trounced by Carolina Forest (Myrtle Beach, SC), 65-17, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Sharks battle the Socastee Braves (Myrtle Beach, SC) in a AAAAA Region 6 challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. St. James will attempt to better on its 13-11 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 13-11 record after their 35-32 league win over Conway (Conway, SC).
