The Peabody Warhorses basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting West Ouachita Chiefs to 39 in the Warhorses league triumph on Friday.

The Warhorses now possess a 15-10 record. They play next when they host Alexandria for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. Peabody will confront a Trojans team coming off a 46-40 league win over Ruston (Ruston, LA). The Trojans record now stands at 21-6.

With the loss, West Ouachita falls to 19-8 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Grant (Dry Prong, LA) to confront the Cougars in a 4A District 2 game on Friday, February 14. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 5-19. Grant lost 49-21 in their recent league game against Tioga (Tioga, LA)
