In Friday's league test, the Whiteville Wolfpack (Whiteville, NC) basketball squad defeated the host Pender Patriots (Burgaw, NC), by a final score of 38-26.

Next, the Wolfpack clash with the East Bladen Eagles (Elizabethtown, NC) in a 1A/2A Waccamaw test, on Tuesday, February 11. Whiteville will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 19-3 record after their 52-25 league win over Pender (Burgaw, NC).

The Patriots (3-10) will now prepare for their test against East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC). The Eagles come into the 1A/2A Waccamaw test with a 18-3 record. In their last test, East Bladen overcame West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC), 59-8, in a league test.
