Pennsylvania High School Basketball - West Branch knocked off by Philipsburg-Osceola

In Friday's non-league test, the Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers (Philipsburg, PA) basketball squad knocked off the host West Branch Warriors (Morrisdale, PA), by a score of 44-27.

Next, the Mountaineers encounter the Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils (Bellwood, PA) in a Laurel Highlands test, on Saturday, February 8. Philipsburg-Osceola will attempt to improve on its 3-17 season record. The Blue Devils come into the test with a 9-11 record after their 53-42 league loss to Huntingdon (Huntingdon, PA).

The Warriors (1-18) will now prepare for their test against Penns Manor (Clymer, PA). The Comets come into the non-league test with a 19-4 record. In their last test, Penns Manor went down by River Valley (Blairsville, PA), 54-48, in a non-league test.
