In Friday's league contest, the host Romeo Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 59-23 win over the Utica Chieftains.

The Bulldogs (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeview (St. Clair Shores, MI). The Huskies come into the non-league contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Lakeview was trounced by Anchor Bay (Fair Haven, MI), 47-24, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Chieftains battle the Chippewa Valley Big Reds (Clinton Township, MI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Utica will attempt to better on its 2-14 season record. The Big Reds come into the contest with a 13-4 record after their 56-46 non-league win over Port Huron Northern (Port Huron, MI).
