The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Verdigris Cardinals (Claremore, OK) and the host Skiatook Bulldogs (Skiatook, OK), observed Verdigris's basketball team beat Skiatook by a tally of 46-38.
The Cardinals now possess a 6-11 record. They play next when they host Vinita for a Verdigris Valley bout on Tuesday, February 11. Verdigris will play a Hornets team coming off a 44-22 league win over Miami (Miami, OK). The Hornets record now stands at 14-7.
With the loss, Skiatook falls to 9-12 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Oologah (Oologah, OK) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 6-3.
