West Virginia High School Basketball - Wahama victorious over Wirt County

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Wahama White Falcons basketball team scored a good 43-35 triumph over the Wirt County Tigers.
The White Falcons (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Calhoun (Mt. Zion, WV). The Red Devils go into the non-league contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Calhoun topped Webster County (Upper Glade, WV), 54-53, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers confront the Gilmer County Titans (Glenville, WV) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Wirt County will attempt to better on its 6-11 season record. The Titans go into the contest with a 16-2 record after their 65-28 non-league win over St. Joseph Central (Huntington, WV).
