In Friday's league contest, the visiting Watson Chapel Wildcats basketball team scored a close 50-47 triumph over the Warren Lumberjacks.
The Wildcats (18-4) will now prepare for their contest against Monticello (Monticello, AR). The Billies go into the 4A Region 8 contest with a 5-14 record. In their last contest, Monticello was tipped by Hamburg (Hamburg, AR), 53-50, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Lumberjacks battle the Star City Bulldogs (Star City, AR) in a 4A Region 8 contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Warren will attempt to better on its 6-17 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 10-14 record after their 62-32 league win over Crossett (Crossett, AR).
