In Friday's league test, the West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC) basketball squad got by the visiting West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC), by a score of 37-33.

Next, the Warriors encounter the Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC) in a 2A Catawba Valley test, on Tuesday, February 11. West Caldwell will attempt to improve on its 3-15 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 13-7 record after their 56-46 league win over Newton-Conover (Newton, NC).

The Rebels (2-20) will now prepare for their test against East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC). The Cavaliers come into the 2A Catawba Valley test with a 21-1 record. In their last test, East Burke held off Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC), 88-50, in a league test.
