In Friday's league contest, the host Bandys Trojans basketball team scored a good 31-16 win over the Newton-Conover Red Devils.
The Trojans (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Bears come into the contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Bunker Hill defeated Newton-Conover (Newton, NC), 46-15, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Red Devils battle the Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Newton-Conover will attempt to better on its 2-13 season record.
