The Fluvanna County Flying Flucos basketball team scored 46 points and limited the host Orange County Fighting Hornets to 39 in the Flying Flucos league triumph on Friday.

The Flying Flucos now have a 12-3 record. They play next when they host Charlottesville for a non-league game on Monday, February 10. Fluvanna County will confront a Black Knights team coming off a 44-30 non-league win over Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Black Knights record now stands at 8-6.

With the loss, Orange County falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Fighting hornets host Monticello (Charlottesville, VA) to confront the Mustangs in a game on Monday, February 10. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 5-12. Monticello lost 50-13 in their recent non-league game against Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA)
