In Friday's non-league test, the Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA), by a score of 51-14.
Next, the Maroon Tide encounter the Bland County Bears (Rocky Gap, VA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, February 11. Galax will attempt to improve on its 11-0 season record.
The Blue Devils (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Pioneers come into the non-league test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, Fort Chiswell bounced Giles (Pearisburg, VA), 34-16, in a non-league test.
