Fans at Friday's league battle between the Los Angeles CES Unicorns (Los Angeles, CA) and the host Westchester Comets (Los Angeles, CA), saw Los Angeles CES's soccer squad triumph over Westchester by a count of 8-0.

The Unicorns (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Venice (Los Angeles, CA). The Gondoliers enter the Western battle with a 12-5 record. In their last battle, Venice was overwhelmed by Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Comets battle the Fairfax Lions (Los Angeles, CA) in a Western battle, on Wednesday, February 12. Westchester will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 5-9 record after their 1-0 league loss to University (Los Angeles, CA).
