The Wildcats now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Pleasant for a 5A Region 2 District 10 bout on Tuesday, February 11. Whitehouse will play a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Lufkin (Lufkin, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Texas moves to 5-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Nacogdoches (Nacogdoches, TX) to meet the Dragons in a 5A Region 2 District 10 test on Tuesday, February 11. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 1-8. Nacogdoches lost 7-0 in their recent league test against Hallsville (Hallsville, TX)
