The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Palmer Moose (Palmer, AK) and the visiting Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears (Juneau, AK), witnessed Palmer's ice hockey team defeat Juneau-Douglas by a score of 5-2.

The Moose (20-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Soldotna (Soldotna, AK). The Stars come into the non-league challenge with a 11-10 record. In their last challenge, Soldotna got by Delta (Delta Junction, AK), 7-2, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Crimson Bears battle the Kenai Central Kardinals (Kenai, AK) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 8. Juneau-Douglas will attempt to better on its 14-11 season record. The Kardinals come into the challenge with a 15-9 record after their 1-0 non-league win over North Pole (North Pole, AK).
