A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host South Iredell Vikings (Statesville, NC), 33-27 in a league battle.
With the win, A.L. Brown upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Wonders host Mooresville (Mooresville, NC) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 11. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 8-7. Mooresville won 40-23 in their recent non-league test against West Cabarrus (Concord, NC)
The Vikings (9-10) will now prepare for their test against Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Wildcats come into the non-league test with a 13-4 record. In their last test, Lake Norman held off Cox Mill (Concord, NC), 53-34, in a non-league test.
