The Eastern Wayne Warriors (Goldsboro, NC) basketball crushed the host Beddingfield Bruins (Wilson, NC), 56-35 in Friday's league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 15-1 record. They play next when they host North Johnston for a bout on Tuesday, February 11. Eastern Wayne will play a Panthers team coming off a 50-36 non-league loss to Goldsboro (Goldsboro, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 7-10.
With the loss, Beddingfield falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Bruins host Princeton (Princeton, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 13. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-14. Princeton won 51-42 in their recent non-league bout against Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC)
