The Greensville County Eagles (Emporia, VA) basketball edged the visiting Brunswick Bulldogs (Lawrenceville, VA), 28-26 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 11-2 record. They play next when they travel to Windsor for a non-league bout on Monday, February 10. Greensville County will play a Dukes team coming off a 42-19 non-league loss to Surry County (Dendron, VA). The Dukes record now stands at 3-13.
With the loss, Brunswick falls to 7-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Southampton (Courtland, VA) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 11-5.
