California High School Basketball - Orland overwhelms Corning

February 7, 2025: Orland, CA 95963

The Orland Trojans basketball team scored 73 points and limited the visiting Corning Cardinals to 28 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now possess a 18-7 record. They play next when they host Gridley for a game on Tuesday, February 11. Orland will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 55-22 league win over Live Oak (Live Oak, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-8.

With the loss, Corning falls to 7-16 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Las Plumas (Oroville, CA) to play the Thunderbirds in a game on Tuesday, February 11. The Thunderbirds go into the game with a record of 21-5. Las Plumas won 62-22 in their recent league game against Oroville (Oroville, CA)
