The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the First Baptist School Hurricanes (Charleston, SC) and the host Northwood Academy Chargers (Charleston, SC), observed First Baptist School's basketball team knock off Northwood Academy by a score of 35-15.
The Hurricanes (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC). The Cyclones come into the challenge with a 16-3 record. In their last challenge, Porter-Gaud prevailed over Cathedral Academy (North Charleston, SC), 39-30, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Chargers encounter the Pinewood Prep Panthers (Summerville, SC) in a challenge, on Monday, February 10. Northwood Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record.
