The Honaker Tigers basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Northwood Panthers to 38 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now have a 9-1 record. They play next when they host Chilhowie for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. Honaker will confront a Warriors team coming off a 42-28 non-league win over Holston (Damascus, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 12-4.

With the loss, Northwood falls to 5-11 on the campaign. The Panthers host Marion (Marion, VA) to confront the Scarlet Hurricanes in a non-league game on Monday, February 10. The Scarlet Hurricanes go into the game with a record of 1-7.
