In Friday's non-league contest, the host Turner Ashby Knights basketball team scored a good 42-23 triumph over the Rockbridge County Wildcats.
The Knights (14-3) will now prepare for their contest against Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA). The Trailblazers go into the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Spotswood topped Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA), 56-35, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats confront the William Monroe Dragons (Stanardsville, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Rockbridge County will attempt to better on its 2-17 season record. The Dragons go into the contest with a 2-11 record after their 53-42 non-league win over Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA).
