In Friday's league test, the Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC), by a score of 58-47.

Next, the Warriors encounter the Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC) in a test, on Tuesday, February 11. Wheatmore will attempt to improve on its 16-3 season record. The Patriots come into the test with a 9-10 record after their 58-47 non-league loss to Williams (Burlington, NC).

The Cougars (10-11) will now prepare for their test against Uwharrie Charter Academy (Asheboro, NC). The Eagles come into the test with a 5-12 record.
