The Wilson Prep Tigers defeated the visiting Weldon Chargers basketball squad by a final score of 54-45 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, February 8. Wilson Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 15-4 season record. The Vikings come into the outing with a 9-6 record after their 82-54 league loss to Southeast Halifax (Halifax, NC).

The Chargers (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Rocky Mount Prep (Rocky Mount, NC). The Jaguars come into the non-league outing with a 7-8 record. In their last outing, Rocky Mount Prep went down by Warren County (Warrenton, NC), 60-59, in a non-league outing.
