The Kennedale Wildcats edged the host Alvarado Indians soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Friday's league game.
Next, the Wildcats face the Life Waxahachie Mustangs (Waxahachie, TX) in a 4A Region 1 District 6 game, on Tuesday, February 11. Kennedale will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 12-2 record after their 6-1 league win over Godley (Godley, TX).
The Indians (4-7) will now prepare for their game against Venus (Venus, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 4A Region 1 District 6 game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Venus was nipped by Ferris (Ferris, TX), 2-0, in a league game.
