Fans at Friday's league battle between the Carson Colts (Carson, CA) and the host San Pedro Pirates (San Pedro, CA), saw Carson's soccer squad hold off San Pedro by a count of 2-1.

The Colts (13-4) will now prepare for their battle against Gardena (Gardena, CA). The Panthers enter the Marine battle with a 3-10 record. In their last battle, Gardena was edged by Banning (Wilmington, CA), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Pirates confront the Narbonne Gauchos (Harbor City, CA) in a Marine battle, on Monday, February 10. San Pedro will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Gauchos enter the battle with a 12-5 record after their 5-0 league win over Rancho Dominguez (Long Beach, CA).
