Fans at Friday's league battle between the Lumberton Raiders (Lumberton, TX) and the host Hardin-Jefferson Hawks (Sour Lake, TX), saw Lumberton's soccer squad triumph over Hardin-Jefferson by a count of 6-1.

The Raiders (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Vidor (Vidor, TX). The Pirates enter the 4A Region 3 District 17 battle with a 1-13 record. In their last battle, Vidor was overwhelmed by Bridge City (Bridge City, TX), 9-2, in a league battle.

Next up, the Hawks battle the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears (Orange, TX) in a 4A Region 3 District 17 battle, on Tuesday, February 11. Hardin-Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Bears enter the battle with a 1-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Silsbee (Silsbee, TX).
