Fans at Friday's league battle between the San Marcos Rattlers (San Marcos, TX) and the visiting Judson Rockets (Converse, TX), saw San Marcos's soccer squad hold off Judson by a score of 2-1.

The Rattlers (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Steele (Cibolo, TX). The Knights enter the 6A Region 4 District 29 battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Steele tipped Judson (Converse, TX), 5-2, in a league battle.

Next up, the Rockets confront the Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX) in a 6A Region 4 District 29 battle, on Tuesday, February 11. Judson will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Cougars enter the battle with a 7-3 record after their 3-2 league win over East Central (San Antonio, TX).
