Palestine Wildcats (Palestine, TX) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Westwood Panthers (Palestine, TX), 8-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Palestine advances its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Diboll (Diboll, TX) to clash with the Lumberjacks in a 4A Region 2 District 16 test on Tuesday, February 11. The Lumberjacks come into the test with a record of 4-3. Diboll won 3-2 in their recent league test against Westwood (Palestine, TX)

The Panthers now have a 1-12 record. They take the field next when they host Madisonville for a 4A Region 2 District 16 test on Tuesday, February 11. Westwood will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 2-1 league win over Hudson (Lufkin, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-4.
